Wassaman United are through to the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup after coming from a goal down to win 2-1 over Tema Youth on Monday in Tarkwa in an outstanding encounter and will now face New Edubiase on July 22.
The outstanding quarter-final clash was postponed on Sunday due to heavy downpour.
But goals from the visitors Tema Youth who drew first blood through Derrick Mensah.Raphael Obeng drew level in the 68th minute when he connected a pass from inside the box.
Striker Godbless Asamoah snatched the winner for the home side when he shrugged off an attack from behind to displace the Tema Youth goalkeeper in the 85th minute.
The winner of the semi-final meeting between Wassaman and New Edubiase will meet AshantiGold in the finals.The Tarkwa-based side were relegated from the Ghana Premier League last season.
