JOYBUSINESS has learnt of the Acting Chief Executive of the National Pension Regulatory Authority, Sam Pee Yarley is still at post despite the announcement of his position as vacant.
JOYBUSINESS sources say, Mr. Yarely rather sees the announcement as an opportunity to have his appointment confirmed and was even at post yesterday, July 16.
Analysts also argue only the president who appointed him as the Acting Chief Executive can revoke his appointment.
Mr. Yarley was appointed by the president in acting capacity earlier this year after, Chartered Accounted Dr. Daniel Seddoh resigned.
The Authority yesterday officially announced vacancies for three of its top executive positions including Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Finance and Administration
