Romelu Lukaku is finally ready to become a Chelsea star and prove a point to Andre Villas-Boas.
The striker scored his first goals for the club yesterday morning, a year after his £18million move from Anderlecht.
And the Belgian powerhouse believes he can take the Premier League by storm this season now that former Blues boss AVB is no longer in his way.
Lukaku, 19, struck twice in a 4-2 win over Seattle with new Chelsea boys Eden Hazard and Marko Marin also on target.
He admitted: “Those goals have been a long time coming. Last season was very difficult for me.
“But now it’s back to zero and if you have a good manager behind you, like I do now with Roberto Di Matteo, it’s the perfect situation. I’m confident and sure I can do well.”
