Ghana’s sole competitor in the ongoing Caf champions league Berekum Chelsea are hopeful that they will get a good result on Sunday against Congolese side TP Mazembe in their newly built stadium.
The 2011 Glo premier league champions believe they are well psyched for the game at the newly built Lubumbashi stadium in Congo on Sunday.
The coach of the team believes they are well prepared for the task ahead.
“This game is a very important one because they lost in their first match so they will come all out to get the three points so we have to be very determined when we go there. We also have to close the space as fast as possible that’s is why we have to play compacted so that there will be no space for them”
“In the first twenty minutes, they will put pressure on us so we have to defend well and avoid unnecessary mistakes. We have also done a lot of training with the defenders to cooperate with the midfield so that we get results” van Der Plyum stated.
The striker of the side Emmanuel Clottey also told joy sports that he is hopeful the game will go on their side.
“Their name is TP Mazembe but the players are not TP Mazembe so we are prepared for them” Clottey said with confidence.
TP Mazembe lost 2-1 to Egyptian side Al-Aly in their first match
