The Finance Ministry has dismissed media reports it has withdrawn the supplementary budget it put before Parliament on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the Public Relations officer of the Ministry said:
"The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MOFEP) wishes to bring to the attention of the general public and all stakeholders that the Ministry has NOT, repeat NOT, withdrawn the Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy and Supplementary Estimate presented to Parliament by the Hon Minister of Finance and Economic Planning on Wednesday July 18, 2012."
