New Edubiase are focused on playing in the finals of the MTN FA Cup this season as they prepare for their semi-final battle against surprise candidates, Wassaman United.
The two sides will play at the Accrs Sports Stadium in the second last-four match for a place in next weekend's finals.
Wassaman, who got relegated from the Premier League after considering the most goals - 43 - have rather shown steel in the Cup competition to reach the semi-finals.
For the relegated premiership side, Edubiase must fall just like the four other sides - Bechem Utd, Ebusua Dwarfs, Inter-Allies and Tema Youth - so they get to play AshantiGold in the finals.
However assistant coach of Edubiase Michael Osei believes his side deserves to be in the finals of the MTN FA Cup.
Edubiase must realign a squad missing some of it's top players including the league's top scorer, Emmanuel Baffour to help them go past Wassaman.
And Osei, a former Ghana international is confident that Edubiase can overcome the challenge.
“We have lost some three-four players but we still have some more in the team so we are not afraid,” he told Accra-based Radio XYZ.
“Our preparations have been a little bit short but I am sure we will be ready to face Wassaman United.
“We deserve this chance to win the FA Cup by virtue of our performance in the Premier League, so we wish to beat Wassaman so we can meet AshGold in the finals.”
