The Ghana Book Publishers Association has received with deep sorrow the death of H.E Prof. John Evans Atta Mills. We express our sincere condolences to the former first lady Dr. Mrs. Naadu Mills, the entire family and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). We pray that the good Lord will grant the entire nation the strength to bear this loss. We are indeed comforted by the fact that he was an exemplary leader and a humble person who served his people well and left a legacy.
May the good Lord receive him in His bosom until we meet again. We the Ghana Book Publishers Association (GBPA) would forever have fond memories of Prof and his support for the Publishing Industry.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
We also congratulate His Excellency John Mahama for being sworn in as President of the Republic of Ghana. We wish that he will seek God’s guidance in running the affairs of the country.
