O proud death, what drink shall quench your consuming thirst? What meal shall make quiet the deafening rumbling of your eternal starving? You have taken our father, our Professor, our brother, our comrade, our patron and our friend. Our hearts ache with bleeding anguish, we are inconsolable, grief-stricken and deeply pained. For with swift and ruthless dispatch you have taken our President, Prof. J. E. A. Mills. But we remember the great life he lived. The glowing achievements he chalked and the vision he has etched in the consciousness of our dear nation, our mother Ghana. Let all who love and followed him be encouraged, for he did not live nor toil in vain. Let all be strengthened, for he made Ghana and the world a better place. We enjoin all Ghanaians to be gracious to his memory, and to our President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama we pray for God’s wisdom and kindness. To his widow and his family we extend our heartfelt condolences. To our party and sympathizers we pray for an even more brotherly and cooperative spirit.President Mills, Damirifa due, Due Na Amandze Hu! Ya ma Ghanafo yena Kose Kose!Signed
Osborne K Sam,
