Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng is pushing for a move away from Dnipro and insists he will quit the Ukranian top flight side.
The 29-year-old has been unhappy at the club since he joined them last season and is angling for a move away from the club.
The former Getafe man has in the past suffered racial abuse and believes it is time for him to take on a new challenge.
“It is true I want to leave the club. I will leave the club. I have to leave the club. I don’t want to stay there anymore,” Boateng told Accra-based Citi FM
“There are some problems and some issues which I cannot discuss right now. I will leave by the grace of God.”
The Ghana international has fallen out with manager Juade Ramos after the coach confirmed the player no longer wanted to be part of his plans.
He has been consistently being linked to a number of English clubs including West Bromwich Albion.
It has also been reported that Dnipro turned down an offer from Fulham for the holding midfielder.
