Mobile phone and IT assembling firm, rLG communications has initialed an agreement with Microsoft Incorporated to provide software for its equipment.
The agreement will see the software giant provide applications and operating systems to meet the needs of local users.
Chief Executive of rLG communications Roland Agambire tells JOY-BUSINESS the partnership provides a boost for the company’s expansion drive to other countries.
“This agreement is a strategic and very important one which gives us the authority to have all the licenced Microsoft windows. That is a partnership with a well-trusted global brand like this Microsoft signifies our strength in ensuring that we also grow an African brand” he noted.
Country Manager for Microsoft Anglophone West Africa, Emmanuel Oneyeja also says they will use the partnership to grow the brand in West Africa
“We have worked on multinational companies like HP, Dell , Lenovo and others. But we also understand the importance of regional players like rLG” he said.
