Real Madrid defender Pepe says he feels in good shape after being released from hospital on Monday.
Pepe underwent scans for head trauma after a collision during Sunday's draw with Valencia.
The defender said: "I want to thank you all for the many messages of support that I have received over the past few days. I'm flattered by the encouragement I have received since Sunday, especially from the Real Madrid fans, it has really warmed my heart. Very soon I will be in perfect shape to continue fighting for the shirt and for our club.
"The continued support that there has been from team mates, coaches, managers and all employees of the club has been great. I want to say a very special thanks to the club doctors, who have been and still are at my side at all times.
"I also want to thank all of those players from other clubs that have been in touch in various ways that have been concerned for my health. These are great gestures that will not be forgotten. A big hug to everyone."
