Spanish La Liga side Osasuna have confirmed the signing of Anthony Annan on a season-long loan from Schalke 04, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
The Ghana midfielder passed a medical on Thursday morning and will be presented the club's fans at the Reyno de Navarra stadium.
Annan becomes the sixth player to join the Los Rojillos this summer.
The 26-year-old was regarded as surplus to requirements Schalke, a club he joined for €2.5 million from Rosenborg in January 2011.
Annan only made nine appearances in his first season, before spending last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, where he featured in 23 matches.
It is unsure if he will be available for Sunday’s league clash against giants Barcelona in Pamplona.
