Premier league champions Asante Kotoko will play New Edubiase in the Ghana Super Cup contest on September 30, according to the GFA.
The Cup match will be played a week to the start of the Ghana premier league which kicks off on October 7.
Kotoko earned the right to play in the match by virtue of their title as league champions while New Edubiase’s FA Cup title earned them the other ticket.
"The league is expected to start on October 7 but a week before that which is September 30th, the winner of the league will play the winner of the FA Cup," Ghana FA president Kwasi Nyantakyi disclosed.
"Therefore it means Asante Kotoko will face New Edubiase for us to see who the champion of champion is."
The Super Cup contest will be used to honour the memory of renowned football administrator Alhaji Sly Tetteh who died in September last year.
