The promotion hopes of Sekondi Hasaacas and King Faisal faces a huge challenge on the second-day of matches in Zone II of the Division One League play-offs.
After their opening wins, both former premiership clubs - Hasaacas and Faisal - will be keen on consolidating their positions by winning their games on Sunday before the last round of matches.
But with no points from their first outings, and two games to come, Gold Stars and Tarkwa United, who both lost their opening games might be well positioned to upset the form book and push qualification to the final day.
Gold Stars welcome Hasaacas to the El-Wak Stadium on Sunday afternoon and need a win to put themselves in contention of grabbing the sole ticket from Zone II.
The same principle applies to Tarkwa United. They need a win against King Faisal at the Tema Stadium to dream about a Premier League campaign.
The club with the most points after three rounds of matches will make it to the topflight league.
Match Day 2 – August 26, 2012
Gold Stars v Hasaacas - El-Wak Stadium
King Faisal v Tarkwa Utd - Tema Stadium
