Evian has sacked coach Pablo Correa following the club's winless start to the new season.
The Ligue 1 outfit has picked up just one point from its opening four league matches, its latest defeat coming with Sunday's 2-0 reverse at Ajaccio.
"The board of Evian Thonon Gaillard FC confirms that Pablo Correa has been relieved of his duties as coach of the team in light of the poor current results," read a statement on club website etgfc.com.
Sporting director Pascal Dupraz will now take over the running of the first team.
Correa, 45, joined Evian in January as the replacement for Bernard Casoni having previously enjoyed a successful nine-year stint in charge of Nancy.
The Uruguayan led the club to an unexpected ninth-placed finish last season but has paid the price for the club's poor start to the current campaign, which has left them third-bottom of the standings.
After opening with defeats to Bordeaux and Brest, Evian's solitary point under Correa's guidance this term came in a 1-1 draw at home to Lyon on August 24.
