Ghana defender John Pantsil has indicated his desire of making a return to the Black Stars team.
The 31 year old returned to Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv where he has played all of the club’s games in the Israeli league and the Europa League.
Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has not invited John Paintsil since he took charge of the team in April due to his lack of first team opportunities at club level.
The former West Ham and Fulham defender now wants a return to the Black Stars with the explanation he is renewed to do well.
“If I get the chance to come back I will not hesitate at all because I’m a Ghanaian and will always love to play for my national team”. He told JOY Sports
“I’m ever ready and have never made any decision of quitting the Black stars”.
Many have been pushing for the return of the experienced right back into the team ahead of the crucial return leg of the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi in October.
