US-based firm Izzy Care which hopes to revolutionise healthcare in Africa has indicated Ghana is one of its target countries.
The firm's co-founder Joswell Valdez said the company which has developed app-based consultations will give clients an unlimited access to teams of high-level doctors, psychologists and wellness coaches from around the world.
“We strongly believe that we have a massive role to play to help enhance healthcare provision across Africa.
“Through our Izzy Care app, there’s a lot that can be achieved in terms of achieving a fulfilling and healthy life, not forgetting the token rewards one earns for meeting their personal health goals,” Valdez said.
Valdez added that the company is set to start its ICO which is tipped to attract many considering the potential of the company.
Some experts have hailed Izzy Care’s innovative plan, believing that its decentralized methods will give enrollees various options as it relates to their health goals, adding that Africa stands to benefit from the innovation.
Some say this development is coming at a time when most African countries healthcare needs a boost considering how millions of patients continue to suffer in their attempt to get healthy.
Another co-founder, Kenneth Colon also spoke about partnerships, saying that governments, health institutions and individuals with Africa at heart could collaborate with Izzycare on its mission.
"By working with government bodies across the continent, we can streamline public health expenditure and ensure that all Africans have access to the high-quality care they deserve,” he said.
