The Premier Towers building opposite Pension House in Accra has been evacuated after fire gutted one of the floors.
An eyewitness, named only as Diana confirmed the fire to Joy News.
She works in an office on the 11th Floor of the building and is unable to tell which floor caught the fire.
Diana said men from the Ghana National Fire Service were called in and the fire has been brought under control.
The entire building has been evacuated.
It is unclear what caused the fire but firemen are still assessing the extent of damage and looking for possible clues as to the cause of the fire.
