Defending champions Asante Kotoko finally recorded their first victory in this season’s premier league after beating Berekum arsenal 2-0 at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday.After struggling to find their groove in the last four premier league matches the porcupine warriors were on top of their game as Michael Helegbe and Joseph Ochaya scored two second-half goals to end their poor run. The win lifts Kotoko to fifth on the standings and 6 points off the summit.And pressure mounts on Coach CK Akunnor and his team as they picked up their third consecutive defeat in a 2-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.The result leaves Hearts just a place above the relegation zone after five rounds of matches in the league. Ebusua Dwarfs drew goalless with New Edubiase on Saturday at the Len Clay Stadium.
