Former New Edubiase hit man Emmanuel Baffour is urging his former side to keep fighting hard to revive their league campaign.
New Edubiase is third from bottom on the league standings with a meagre four points after match day 5 of the ongoing Glo premier league.
The team with the absence of key players like Emmanuel Baffour, Mumuni Abubakar and Moro Ibrahim is said to be one of the major causes of the club’s struggles in the ongoing premier league.
But Emmanuel Baffour who is now with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns after his impressive goal scoring form in last season’s league where he emerged as the league’s top scorer wants the club to fight on and revive their poor campaign.
“We have quality players and good coaches at Edubiase so I know the situation the team is facing now will change very soon,” Baffour told Joy Sports in Johannesburg. “Edubiase losing three consecutive matches is uncalled for and I strongly believe that the players will fight hard to bring back the winning spirit”.
New Edubiase are the defending champions of the MTN FA Cup after winning last season's competition.
