Former President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his commitment to building strong and robust structures for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Addressing separate meetings with delegates in Nkrankwanta, Dormaa Ahenkro, Goaso, Kukuom, Nkasiem and Kenyase on Sunday as part of his campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region, Mr Mahama said that the NDC must be firmly rooted at the branch, ward and constituency levels.
He further noted that a solid, organised and resourced NDC is imperative for victory in the next elections.
Mr Mahama has therefore given the assurance that he will work towards helping to provide constituencies with offices as well as deepening party interactions in the next NDC administration.
“We will compile a database of the human resource capacity of our people and engage the party in appointments and other important issues,” he added.
Advising fans, admirers and volunteer groups who wish to campaign for him to align with party structures, Mr Mahama said he will focus on using the NDC machinery to run an effective campaign for victory in the 2020 election.
