The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre has announced a Call for Entries for the 17th edition of the Ghana Club 100 (GC100) Awards.
This year's edition will take place on November 23, under the theme Technology, Innovation &Entrepreneurship: Opportunities for Growth and Job Creation.
The objectives of the GC 100 are to develop an open information culture within the Ghanaian corporate sector, provide incentives for improved performance, develop uniform criteria for evaluating this performance and to establish an annual database of the top 100 performing companies.
All entrants for the Awards must be limited liability companies. For companies with government interest, government ownership should be less than 50% unless the company is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).
On the award night, there will be recognition for the top 100 businesses and for the leading companies in each of the following strategic sectors.
The sectors include Agriculture and Agribusiness, Information and Communication Technology, Financial Services, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas.
The others are Services sector, Infrastructure, Mining, Tourism as well as Health and Education.
There will also be a Special Award for outstanding performance in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
