Veteran Football Administrator Abbey Pobee has branded midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng as a 'Rolls Royce' vehicle in the wake of his inclusion to the Black Stars squad that will face Egypt on November 19 in Cairo.
The Black Stars are on the verge of securing a third successive bid at the World Cup after spanking Egypt 6-1 in a first leg qualifier last month at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
Boateng was absent after claiming he was injured and that decision have not gone down well with many Ghanaians, who want the Schalke 04 midfielder out of the team.
But Mr. Pobee, who believes Ghana needs quality players in order to make an impact in Egypt and eventually Brazil if the team qualifies, says Boateng's inclusion to will put fear in Ghana's opponents and improve the Black Stars tactical exhibition.
"Kevin-Prince Boateng is like a rolls royce. Rolls Royce is one the most expensive cars made in Britain and Kevin is just like that car," Pobee said on Asempa FM Sports.
"We need quality in the team. You could see the presence of the likes of (Michael) Essien, Dede (Ayew), Jordan (Ayew) and (Sulley) Muntari and Ghana to beat Zambia and Egypt (in the first leg) respectively."
"Those players are experienced players and cannot move to the top without them."
"Ghanaians should handle Prince-Boateng with care because he will surely help the team."
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has invited Boateng for the return leg game against Egypt in Cairo on November 19.
