Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) is employing the services of direct sales representatives as it seeks to deepen deposits.
The bank which focuses on the agriculture sector intends to mobilize the more money so it can lend a lot more for its core sector as well as other thriving areas of the economy.
ADB has selected two companies, Professional Orientation and Planning Services Ltd and FKV & Associates to recruit the direct sales persons.
So far, some 30 of them have been taken on and are operating within the Accra and Kumasi Metropolis.
The use of direct sales agents has gained currency among banks and has positively impacted on the deposit mobilization drive of the organizations that employ this strategy.
