The Chief Executive Officer of African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism, Samson Deen has been named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year for his excellent service at the annual Ghana Entrepreneurs Awards held at the State Banquet Hall in Accra.
The awards instituted four years ago is to recognize, celebrate and reward individuals and groups making real change in Ghanaian society through enterprise
African Origin has been a leading hospitality service provider in Ghana with specialty in sports tourism.
On the evening of the awards, the citation for the Young Entrepreneur award read;
“African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism now a household name in Ghana and international sports tourism circles within its short existence has chalked a number of successes,”
The firm has been responsible for the transportation and accommodation of Ghanaian officials and fans for major sporting events including the FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games and the Africa Cup of Nations since its inception in 2003.
