A presidential aspirant of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed his deepest condolence to the President Goodluck Jonathan, the Federal Government and the people of Nigeria on the news of the sad death of President Musa Yar’Adua.
“This period of national grief calls for unity amongst the people of Nigeria and solidarity from all her friends,” Nana Addo said in a press release.
“As a citizen of a country that enjoys strong, special relations with the Federal Republic, I can say that Ghanaians are in mourning and in solidarity with our Nigerian brothers and sisters at this trying moment in their lives.
“My sympathies also go to the First Lady, the children and the entire family of the late Federal President.
“May God have mercy on his soul and give him a place of rest and perfect peace.”
