Beleaguered businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome is due for court today.
He together with three others are facing six charges including conspiracy to defraud and defrauding by false pretense.
Woyome was arrested about ten days ago for questioning after he was indicted by an interim report by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) last Wednesday.
The EOCO investigated the payment of some GHC51 million judgment debt to Mr Woyome.
He was refused bail when he appeared in court last Friday. But his lawyers are hopeful they will get bail for him today.
Meanwhile, a group championing the release of the Mr Woyome has hinted of a demonstration to demand his release.
A member of the Free Woyome Movement David Tamakloe told Joy News Mr Woyome’s continuous detention is unconstitutional.
