It was a night of fashion in grand style when the Malaika 2010 delegates were officially outdoored at the plush Royal Richester Hotel in Accra last Friday.
The launch marks the beginning of very competitive and exciting episodes that will be telecast on GTV every Tuesday and Sunday.
The Malaika 2010 journey to stardom took off with over 400 beautiful ladies turning up to register. They were scrutinized in various stages of auditioning both in Accra and Kumasi.
At the end of the long search 16 fortunate ladies ‘cast a spell’ on the judges, thereby selecting them to participate in the ever envious Malaika beauty pageant.
The delegates will live together in the luxurious Malaika house to compete among themselves in challenging but interesting weekly activities designed for them which will prepare them for evictions.
The delegates are Petra Agyarkwa, Berlla Addordey, Ayerki Nanor, Perprtual Kaditey, Selina Owusu, Emelia Amandi, and Belinda Esinam Ofori. The rest are Stephannie Mensah, Jennifer Afolley Tettteh, Felicia Nartey, Linda Kusi, Ruqy Alhassan, Roslyn Ashkar, Deborah Koomson, Nanan Yaa Hanaku - Larbi, Nana Ama Norkor Nettey.
The general public have the opportunity to maintain their favourite delegate in the competition by simply texting the delegates name to the short code 1758 across all mobile networks.
The current reigning Malaika beauty queen, Miss Gezelle Addae will sooner than later gracefully pass on the mantle to the next winner.
The 8th edition of Miss Malaika Ghana 2010 is sponsored by MTN, Egypt Air, Rana Motors, UB Hair relaxer, First Choice, Sultana Tomato paste and powered by Charterhouse.
