Renowned Ghanaian musician Dan Amakye Dede popularly known as "Iron Boy" says his colleagues in the music industry will show the Black Stars players that they are not only musicians.
A host of Ghanaian internationals would turn up at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday 12th June 2011 to play with Ghana's music stars in an annual soccer fiesta game. This year’s event is to help raise funds for juvenile football in the country.
Amakye Dede believes they can overrun the stars come Sunday to show them their capabilities when it comes to playing football.
Speaking on Asempa fm’s sports morning show, Iron Boy noted that, the musicians are ready for the Black Stars and called on Ghanaians to troop to the stadium in their numbers to see him strike for the musicians.
Former captain of the Black Stars Stephen Appiah believes the game will be an interesting game and is looking forward to it.
He called on the public to be at the stadium to watch their stars entertain them and also raise funds for juvenile football in the country.
Black Stars duo Asamoah Gyan and John Paintsil are expected to lead the team of footballers while the musicians parade stars including Samini, Amakye dede, Okyeame Kwame, Castro, Kwabena Kwabena, VIP, Sarkodie and a host of others.
