Abdul-Aziz Amankwaah returned a net score of 72 to win the Celebrity Golf Club’s April Medal Open Championship played at Sakumono near Tema on Saturday. William Osei-Poku took the second position with a net score of 73 when he beat Joseph Ampofo on count-back while Riet Besseling emerged champion in the Ladies category, returning a net score of 79. The Visitors Event was won by William Hackman with a net score of 76 while David Hampton placed second with a net score of 81. About 80 golfers took part in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition, which was sponsored by the Celebrity Golf Club.
