Abdul-Aziz Amankwaah returned a net score of 72 to win the Celebrity Golf Club’s April Medal Open Championship played at Sakumono near Tema on Saturday.
William Osei-Poku took the second position with a net score of 73 when he beat Joseph Ampofo on count-back while Riet Besseling emerged champion in the Ladies category, returning a net score of 79.
The Visitors Event was won by William Hackman with a net score of 76 while David Hampton placed second with a net score of 81.
About 80 golfers took part in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition, which was sponsored by the Celebrity Golf Club.
Mr Ato Enndman, Resident Manager of the Club called on the members to take active interest in the activities and development of the Club.
