Former Black Stars player Anthony Yeboah is encouraging players who play outside the shores of Ghana and earn huge sums of money, to donate and help society when they are in the position to do so.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s “Fire for Fire” sports show, Yeboah stated that it is good to give back to society and help people who are helpless.
According to him, people used to come to him each morning just to come and share their problems with him to seek for help during his playing days.
He said since the society is aware of your earnings as a footballer, people expect that you are able to help them handle their problems. The player must therefore try and listen and if you can help, offer it. He said some of these people may have contributed in one way or the other to the footballer's fame and success.
