Telecommunications company MTN has adjudged appsNmobile Solutions Limited the Emerging and Innovative Fintech Company of the Year.
The award was in recognition of their contribution and support to the success of MTN Mobile Money in Ghana.
The award was presented during an event held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra to mark the 10th anniversary of MTN Mobile Money operation in Ghana.
MTN Ghana said the young wholly-owned Ghanaian company is leveraging innovative methods that delight customers while promoting excellent customer experience.

The event also saw telecommunications giant recognise and award other institutions and personalities who have played various roles to the success of the industry in the last decade.
Commenting on the award, CEO of appsNmobile Solutions Limited Richard Bansah said the company had a target to distinguish itself with innovative solutions since it began operations.
He, therefore, finds it heartwarming that the effort of his hardworking team has been recognised.
The Solutions
The VPOS is a USSD point of sale application that enables every category of institutions to receive payments.
The Golden Tree platform was developed to enable companies to purchase produce from farmers and pay them safely with audit trails using mobile money.
Additionally, Tricklz was developed to offer the average Ghanaian without access to credit, the chance to shop and pay for items in instalments.
“All of these were developed by our in-house team of software engineers,” Mr Bansah said.
The CEO of appsNmobile Solutions Limited is, however, confident that large enterprises will begin to gain trust in Ghanaian Fintechs and the mobile money space to spur the growth of the industry.
