Former Black Stars defender, Emmanuel Armah Senegal believes that he may not be in the position to advise current handler of the Ghana’s senior national team, Kwesi Appiah on what to do ahead of the forthcoming Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup, but noted that with co-operation and support from all quarters, Ghana could do very well at the mundial.
In a chat with JOY Sports, the former playing mate of Appiah reiterated how important it was that the team got all the necessary support they could get from Ghanaians who worked for them in the 1992 AFCON in Senegal
“I am not in a position to advice Appiah, we can only try to support him, he’s a Ghanaian Hero and whatever they have been doing before, it should continue now.
“Appiah says he doesn’t have any problem with anybody and I believe so.
“Let us all try to be a little bit positively minded, football is a collective sport and not an individual one, so let us join hands together: citizens, journalists, government, Ghana FA and everybody and I believe that we will do very well in Brazil”. He added
Ghana’s provisional list for the World Cup is expected to be released on May 13.
