Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan will make his much-awaited debut for his new club Al Ain in a second round Etisalat Cup match against Dubai Club on Friday night.
Gyan, who made a shock big money move from English Premier League side Sunderland earlier this month, has been training with the UAE club since last week.
Al Ain will be counting on the attacking prowess of Asamoah Gyan to revive its campaign in the EtiSalat Cup after the 25-year-old missed the opening encounter which his side lost 2-1 to Al Wahdah Abu Dhabi last Friday.
Al Ain holds a psychological advantage over Dubai Club which they beat 2-0 in a club friendly last month.
