The family of a young man alleged to have been brutalized by a chief in Navrongo in the Upper East region is asking the police to take immediate action.Hammond Bajewo is alleged to have commented that there is no chief in Navrongo.He was then invited to the palace and allegedly subjected to severe beating.His elder brother, Augustine Bajewo told Joy News his brother is badly hurt.He said his brother’s arm is virtually detached from the shoulder.Attempts to get the chief to respond to the allegation has proven futile.Joy News has also been unsuccessful in getting the police to comment.Source: Joy News/Ghana
