Musician Barima Sidney says he will once more vote for President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party on December 7.
According to him, he is impressed with the NPP-led government for ensuring a more stable flow of electricity as compared to the NDC when they were in power.
“I remember we did the dumsor must stop and all. I won't say it is perfect but it's far better than it used to be,” Barima Sidney said on Showbiz A-Z, Saturday.
In his opinion, it is unfair to compare a 4-year government to an 8-year one. As such, he prefers that the NPP is given the chance to do more for the country.
“This man (President Akufo-Addo) just came in and I think it is just fair that we give him another 4 years so we can compare."
Sidney who said he voted for the NPP in 2016 has not regretted his decision and believes the NPP is the better choice for the country.
The singer is not the only one showing support for the NPP ahead of the elections. Dancehall artiste Samini has not only endorsed the party but also has a song "Kpoyaka" praising the achievements of the party.
Actor Prince David Osei in the past weeks has also not shied away from publicly endorsing President Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
