Afro-pop artiste, Becca, is set to release a new single next Thursday, July 9 as a prelude to her second album titled Time For Me which is expected out in December.
The second single follows an earlier one, Daa Ke Daa, which has so far been favourably received by the public. The second single will be released live on Y Fm.
Becca, meanwhile, has decided to embark on a fund-raising project after an unpleasant experience in a local hospital recently where a four-month old baby died because the mother could not afford a paltry medication fee.
According to Becca, she was greatly touched by the situation and so decided to do something in her own small way as a prelude to an annual Children’s Ball she wants to establish.
She intends to raise funds to pay for NHIL for about 10,000 kids nationwide this year. She has also decided to set aside a percentage of her album sales towards that worthy cause.
