Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejuma-Sekyere Dumasi, Martha Bucknor has told Joy News she is grateful to God for the president's decision to remove her from office.Six municipal and district chief executives in the Ashanti Region were on Tuesday relieved of their posts by President John Mahama. They are: Amansie West MCE, Charles Oti Prempeh; Amansie Central MCE, Robert Fokuo; and Bekwai MCE, Noah Asante Manu.The rest are: Atwima Mponua, Theresa Adomako; Ejura Sekyeredumasi, Martha Bucknor; and Atwima Kwanwoma, Tony Nyame.Though Martha Bucknor has not been officially informed, she said her removal from office is an answered prayer.She said before she entered into office she promised herself not to continue after her four year term albeit she was yet to formally inform the president about that decision.When asked by Joy News why the lost of interest, she answered "I did not lose interest as such. It is a promise I made to myself before coming to the office, that is four years ago, that I was going to serve for four years and end it".Asked if she was able to execute all her plans whilst in office, she responded "yes but not 100%".
