Bel-Aqua Mineral Water, Ghana’s leading bottled water brand, successfully hosted two inspiring events under its “Take a Break” initiative, the Healing Together Walk held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and the Healing Together Vigil held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Alliance Française, Accra.

Both events formed part of Bel-Aqua’s commitment to promoting mental health awareness, mindfulness, and community healing.

A 5.9km Journey Toward Wellness and Unity
The Healing Together Walk took participants on a scenic 5.9-kilometre journey from Ayi Mensah to Peduase, attracting hundreds of Ghanaians — including fitness enthusiasts, students, and professionals.
The event symbolised the collective strength in taking time off to rejuvenate both body and mind.
At the finish point, participants took part in a cool-down session followed by a fun-filled recreational segment featuring archery, tug of peace, five-a-side football, sack races, and table football — turning the morning into a joyful celebration of teamwork, relaxation, and connection.
These activities reinforced the spirit of the Take a Break initiative: finding happiness in simple moments of togetherness.

An Evening of Music, Laughter, and Healing Conversations
A week later, the Healing Together Vigil transformed Alliance Française into a serene and uplifting space for reflection and self-expression.

The evening featured powerful musical performances by Ayisi, Kelvyn Boy, Efya, and Kwan Pa, and was filled with laughter from Jeffery Nortey and Lekzy Decomic, whose comedy reminded the audience of the healing power of joy.
In addition to the performances, guests participated in a mental health panel discussion featuring experts and advocates who addressed issues of stress management, emotional resilience, and seeking help when needed.

The night also included interactive breakout sessions, allowing participants to share experiences and reflect on their personal journeys to healing.

Bel-Aqua’s Ongoing Commitment to Mental Wellness
Both the Walk and Vigil highlight Bel-Aqua’s dedication not only to hydration but also to holistic well-being.

The Take a Break initiative continues to lead important conversations on mental health across Ghana, encouraging people to make self-care a daily practice.

Bel-Aqua extends its heartfelt appreciation to all participants, performers, partners, and mental health advocates who joined to make this year’s Healing Together activities a success.
