Berekum Chelsea coach Hans Van Der Pluym has indicated that their CAF Champions League match against Al Ahly will be played in Berekum.
The Ghanaian side was not allowed to use the Berekum Golden city park for their group opener against Zamalek after failing to meet CAF’s requirements.
The Golden city park according to Hans Van Der pluym has been renovated to CAF’s standard and will be ready to host Ahly in the return encounter in a fortnight.
“What I know is that we are going to play in Berekum,” He told JOY Sports
“I think the doping room and everything is ready now and they have worked on it that is why we will get the opportunity to work in Berekum.”
Chelsea is third in Group B and need a win in a fortnight to enhance their semi-final qualification chances.
