Head coach of Berekum Chelsea Hans Van Der pluym says the team is working on a strategy as they prepare to take on record champions Al Ahly in the third group game of the ongoing CAF Champions league in Cairo on Saturday.
Chelsea’s trip to the Cairo Military Stadium will be their biggest test in their maiden campaign with the six time champions from Egypt boasting two wins in two matches and topping group B which has rivals Zamalek and TP Mazembe.
Chelsea is undefeated so far in the competition and will be hoping to continue with their fine run. The team is currently camping in Tema where they are training on the synthetic pitch at the Tema stadium.
“We have to start more aggressively in a positive way and put pressure on them (Al Ahly)”. Said Van Der Pluym
“The spirit is very high and i think we have already showcased what we are capable of doing. We will show quality and i believe with full confidence we can beat them”.
Chelsea will leave Accra on Thursday afternoon for their CAF Champions League match against Egypt’s Al Ahly.
