Lawyers for former Attorney General Betty Mould Iddrisu are set to report a member of the Public Accounts Committee, MP for Atwima-Mponua, Isaac Asiamah before the Speaker of Parliament for alleged misconduct.
Madam Betty Mould Iddirisu had yesterday demanded the MP be forced to step down from the committee when she appeared before it on the controversial 94 million euro CP judgment debt payout.
She cited transcripts of a radio interview in which the MP allegedly made conclusive remarks describing the transaction as fraudulent.
The chairman of the committee however dismissed their demands directing them to either appeal to the Speaker or go to court.
Lawyer for the former AG, Nana Ato Dadzie insists they will not relent until Mr. Asiamah is kicked off the committee or dragged to the privileges committee.
