A new energy drink has been outdoored in Accra, Friday. Black Fury, described by producers and marketers as an energy enhancer has unique features that would appeal to all consumers.
Imported into the country by Jerrithec Ghana Ltd and manufactured and distributed internationally by Eraply SDN.BHD in Malaysia, Black Fury contains the required food nutrients, including carbonated water sugar, citric acid needed to relax the human muscles.
Unlike other energy drinks on the beverage market, Black Fury is low in caffeine but high on minerals and vitamins.
It has been duly certified by the Food and Drugs Board, and is the only energy drink on the market that has the halal (haram) trademark embossed on it, making it safe for muslims to drink, marketers say.
Chief Executive Officer of Jerrithech Jerry Kwantwi told a cross section of the press at the product launch that the name Black Fury was chosen to project the image of the black people.
The new product he hoped will soon dominate the local Ghanaian market and take a giant step towards the African market within a short period.
Speaking to Myjoyonline.com after the launch, the marketing manager of Jerrythech, Adams Asamoah said Black Fury is a “quality product that has come to stay.”
He said the product is friendly to all, especially muslims who because of their abhorrence to alcohol have had to stay away from many beverages.
“The sugar level is very low, because you don’t want to drink anything that will cause you a whole lot of health issues. In terms of the caffeine level is also very low. The quality in terms of the tasting is very good,” he said.
The new drink is available in the market and in shell shops around the country.
