The Black Satellites have touched down in the city of Kayseri for the final round of group matches against the United States of America after struggling to get results in their first two games at the Turk Telekom Arena in Istanbul.
The Satellites will hope to get a result against the Americans and pray other results go their way if they are to make it to the next stage of the competition.
With the Americans snatching a point against the highly fancied French side, they will clearly have a more realistic chance of making it to the next stage of the competition compared to their much touted counterparts.
It has been a very difficult start to the competition for Ghana, a 3-1 loss to France was followed by a narrow 1-0 defeat to Spain.
This has put the team’s qualification hopes very much in doubt but the four best placed third placed still stand a chance of making it through to the Round of 16.
The lads are happy for this glimmer of hope and will look to take their chances against the USA at the Kadir Has Stadium Kayseri on Thursday at 5pm GMT.
