The Black Stars will no longer camp in Ethiopia to prepare for their 2014 World cup play-offs reverse fixture against Egypt on November 19 as earlier planned.
Ghana who had used the facilities in Addis Ababa in preparation towards the World Cup qualifying double header against Sudan and Lesotho in June had hoped to return to the East African nation for the Cairo game which is a fortnight away.
The 8-day pre-game training camp initially scheduled for Ethiopia has been changed and the team will now be training in Turkey following a report from an advance emissary by the Ghana FA and Ministry of Sports describing the state of facilities as unsatisfactory to the standards of the Black Stars team.
The Black Stars are scheduled to arrive in Cairo on November 18 for the match to be played at the Air Defence Stadium.
The Black Stars have one foot in Brazil after handing the Pharaohs one of their worst defeats in history; 6-1 – in the first leg of the World Cup play-off tie in Kumasi on October 15.
