Richard Kingson will start in goal for the Black Stars in Wednesday's friendly with South Africa at the Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg.
Samuel Inkoom will play at right back with his former Kotoko team mate Harrison Afful manning the left back position on his return to the team since January this year.
Jonathan Mensah and Lee Addy will be the central defensive pair while Anthony Annan, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu and Kojo Asamoah play in midfield.
Haminu Dramani and Andre Ayew will be responsible for the wings and Asamoah Gyan will start upfront.
Midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has asked permission to finalize his transfer to Genoa in the Italian Serie A.
Captain John Mensah has also been replaced by teenager Bright Addae due to club commitments.
The South African players are eager to impress new coach Pitso Mosimane against a strong Ghana team.
