On Saturday, July 1st, the Canadian Independent College, Ghana (CIC Ghana), a leading Preeminent North American Day and Boarding School, held its 17th graduation ceremony at the campus of its primary division located in the Airport Residential Area, Accra.
The historical ceremony boasted of two valedictorians and a student who passed the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) with a perfect score, making it to the top 5 list of students who took the exams worldwide. There was also a progression ceremony held to usher Kindergarten students into Grade school and Middle school students into High school.
The monumental ceremony was studded with distinguished guests, families of the graduates, and staff of the reputable organization.
This batch’s graduating class comprised of 28 students who have all gained acceptance into top class universities all over the world with the prospects of majoring in diverse fields of study such as Business, Computer Science, Design, Economics, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Arts, Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Nursing, Life Sciences etc.
This year, about 80% of the graduates have received offers to schools in Canada for their University programs with the remaining going to the U.S.A, Europe, and other top universities around the world to complete their tertiary education. The phenomenal graduating class of 2023 also boasts of more than 80% of graduates receiving the ‘Ontario Scholar’ Award.
