Real Madrid has confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti will step down as head coach following the club’s final match of the season, marking the end of a highly decorated tenure that has seen him become the most successful manager in the club’s history.

The club and Ancelotti reached a mutual agreement to part ways, with the Italian coach set to take charge of his final game at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday.

In an official statement, Real Madrid expressed its appreciation for Ancelotti’s service, describing him as “one of the greatest legends of Real Madrid and world football.”

“We are proud to have enjoyed a coach who has helped us achieve so much success and who has also represented the values of our club in an exemplary manner.”
