Officials of the Census Secretariat are meeting field officers from the Greater Accra, Volta and Eastern Regions on Sunday.
The meeting follows concerns that a significant number of people have not been enumerated in the 2010 population and housing census which should have ended Sunday.
Officials have already met officers from the other seven regions without any indication of a new deadline for the census.
Michael Adu-Gyamfi, communications manager at the Statistical Service told Joy FM that the meetings so far have aimed at assessing the situation on the ground which would inform what should be done to cover those yet to be enumerated.
He added that the regional meetings have also provided the opportunity to address some of the problems the enumerators faced, including shortage of materials and political categorization of the entire exercise by sections of the society for which they refused to be enumerated.
