Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has apologised for angry and arrogant comments made last year.
Ronaldo admits he regrets dubbing himself "beautiful, young and rich."
He told France Football: "I was wrong to say that people are jealous because I was beautiful, young and rich. But I was angry with myself after a game in which I had not scored: I'm not perfect, I can be wrong and when I do I apologize.
"With age you learn from mistakes. I'm made of flesh and bones like you all: I cry, I laugh, I have my problems like every human.
"And I suffer when I see that some people hate me and insult me.'
